Each player is dealt three cards face down. The dealer also receives three cards, but they play a different role depending on the variant.
Before each round, all players place a boot (minimum stake) into the pot. This starts the prize pool everyone is playing for.
Betting goes clockwise. You can play blind (without looking at your cards) or seen (after looking). Blind players bet at half the seen rate, maintaining an advantage in pot odds.

Each player is dealt 13 cards. The goal is to arrange all cards into valid sets (3 or more cards of the same rank, different suits) and sequences (3 or more consecutive cards of the same suit).
You must have at least two sequences, one of which must be a pure sequence (no joker) to declare a valid hand. Without this, your declaration is invalid.
On your turn, draw one card from the open or closed pile, then discard one card you do not need. The round continues until someone declares.
When your hand is complete, declare by placing your last discard face down. Points from unmelded cards in opponents' hands count against them — the lowest cumulative score wins in Pool Rummy.
Tip: Always prioritise forming a pure sequence first. Without it, even a complete hand results in invalid declaration — a common mistake new Pak3x Rummy players make.
Before cards are dealt, you bet on one of three outcomes: Banker wins, Player wins, or Tie. You are betting on the outcome, not playing a hand yourself.
Banker and Player each receive two cards. Card values: Ace = 1, 2–9 = face value, 10/J/Q/K = 0. Only the last digit of the total counts — so 15 = 5, 19 = 9.
The hand closest to 9 wins. If either hand totals 8 or 9 (a "natural"), no more cards are drawn. Otherwise, a third card may be drawn according to fixed rules.
Banker bets pay even money minus a 5% commission. Player bets pay even money. Tie bets typically pay 8:1 but carry a much higher house edge — experienced Pak3x players generally avoid them.

You and the dealer are each dealt two cards. One of the dealer's cards is face up. Your goal is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without exceeding 21 (going bust).
Card values: 2–10 = face value; J/Q/K = 10; Ace = 1 or 11 (whichever helps more). A "Blackjack" is an Ace plus a 10-value card dealt on your first two cards — it pays 3:2.
On your turn: Hit (take another card), Stand (keep your hand), Double Down (double your bet and take exactly one more card), or Split (if you have a pair, split into two hands).
If you bust, you lose immediately. If you stand, the dealer reveals their hidden card and must hit until they reach 17 or more. The hand closer to 21 wins. Ties push (your bet is returned).
